Pan Idræt creates safe, diverse and active communities with space for it
whole person through sports and leisure throughout Denmark.

Vision 2035

In 2035, Pan Idræt is a nationwide community of associations and volunteers that offers sports with heart and a leisure life that embraces diversity. We are a role model for inclusive communities, health and volunteerism throughout Denmark.

By 2035, we have grown beyond our roots in the capital and have created strong, local sports environments spread across Denmark, where everyone – regardless of sexuality, gender identity, age, body, experience or background – feels welcome, respected and invited to participate.

Volunteering remains at the heart of Pan Idræt. We have created a framework that makes it easy and meaningful to get involved, and we take good care of our volunteers so that they can both develop and celebrate their efforts. Our teams and associations thrive – both professionally and socially – because we have prioritized sustainable organization, strong local roots, and room for diversity in the way people participate.

We are a role model for how sports associations can be engines for both physical and mental health, volunteering, innovation and social cohesion. Our communities are built on active inclusion and carries a proud culture of commitment, respect and joy. We don't just have open doors – we actively go out and invite those in who otherwise wouldn't have thought that sports communities were for them.

Pan Idræt is known as a A sports political voice that dares to speak out when it comes to equality, accessibility and safety in the sports space. We collaborate with organizations and decision-makers to influence the framework for sports so that more people find their way into the community - and stay there.

Through large events, local communities and digital offerings, Pan Idræt has become a vibrant and visible movement – both for those who practice sports today and for those who have not yet found their way. We are innovative, pragmatic, action-oriented and driven by a fundamental belief that all people have the right to move – and belong.
