Other organizations
In Pan Idræt, we collaborate with a number of organizations and are also members of various organizations ourselves, which you can read more about on this page.
Organizations we cooperate with
Copenhagen Pride
The annual Copenhagen Pride forms a natural framework for Pan Idræt's sports policy objectives and visible presence with our community both on our own Rainbow Sports Square - and participation in the parade itself.
In 2021, Copenhagen Pride and Pan Idræt held the joint event Copenhagen 2021 - which was a combined event with World Pride and the Eurogames.
LGBT+ Denmark
Pan Idræt was born as an association in the National Association for Gays and Lesbians (today LGBT+ Denmark). From the year 2000, Pan Idræt's general meeting voted for a separation.
Although Pan Idræt and LGBT+ Denmark were separated, we continue to collaborate to this day on relevant political agendas, so that we promote the interests of our members as best as possible.
Aarhus Rainbow Sports
Pan Idræt's twin association based in Aarhus. The association is, in the same way as us, a multi-pronged sports association.
Organizations we are a member of
Denmark Society
Pan Idræts Dannebrogsfane is our official banner, which we received from the Danish Society in 2014 at HRH Princess Elisabeth. Pan Idræt joined the Danmarks-Samfundet prior to the reception to support the distribution of banners to, among other things, other sports associations.
European Gay and Lesbian Sports Federation (EGLSF)
EGLSF is the European transversal sports organization where the vast majority of European LGBT sports clubs are organized. The organization works with sports policy issues linked to LGBT sports.
The organization owns the Eurogames concept.
Pan Idræt actively supports EGLSF's sports policy objectives and well over 100 of the association's members participate in the Eurogames when these are held.
DGI Greater Copenhagen
Pan Idræt København og Frederiksberg is a member of DGI Greater Copenhagen, which is our main partner in relation to the development of our associations as well as our central sparring partner when it comes to sports policy agendas.
