They lure him to their hometown in Turkey and plan his wedding to Seher, his childhood friend. Suddenly, Beyto finds himself in the dilemma of his life – should he follow his family's wishes or should he follow his heart. The film 'Beyto' is a film about traditions, cultural and generational differences, and is a film filled with hope and love.

The Last Taboo
It's hard to imagine, but true: According to estimates, fewer than 10 out of 500,000 active male professional soccer players are openly gay. While homosexuality may hardly matter anywhere else, the subject seems to be taboo in professional soccer.
This documentary delves into the pervasive homophobia in men's professional football. The documentary reveals the courage and grief of gay players navigating the toxic culture of professional football today. Through heartfelt and powerful interviews, the documentary uncovers the sport's urgent need for change.
After the film, there will be a debate in the cinema with representatives from Pan Idræt and the Danish football world.
The film is in German and is shown with English subtitles. The ticket price includes coffee and cake in the Asta Bar before the film from 1:00 PM.
Blue Jean
In 1988, in England, Margaret Thatcher’s Conservative government introduced Section 28. It is a law that aims to ban local authorities from “promoting homosexuality” throughout the UK. For Jean – a basketball teacher – whose sexuality is a secret from her colleagues, the threat is real. If it is revealed, her love life could cost her her job.
But the sympathy of her girlfriend Viv is limited. Viv is a proud, outgoing, and confident lesbian. Viv sees secrecy as a capitulation to an increasingly oppressive system. The pressure is further increased on Jean, by a new girl at school who is also a lesbian. The film depicts a period in British history whose effects still resonate in countless lives today.
The film is in English and is shown without subtitles.
The ticket price includes coffee and cake in Asta Bar before the film. When you buy 1 ticket for this film you get an extra one – so 2 tickets for the price of one ticket.
Love Lies Bleeding
The film 'Love Lies Bleeding' is a combination of drama and crime. Reclusive fitness manager Lou falls head over heels in love with Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder who is on her way across town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream. The two women are instantly drawn to each other, and no matter how possessive, violent and even murderous they become, they can't pull away. Their love ignites violence and draws them deep into the web of Lou's crime family.
The film is American and is shown without subtitles.
Drown
The film Drown is set in Australia in the closed competitive world of surf lifesaving. Here, the local hero is dethroned as champion by a younger gay competitor. The old champion, the new champion and a mutual friend go on a drinking binge, where jealousy, homophobic fear and repressed desire come to the surface. The city trip culminates in a tragic and fatal episode, "caused" by too much alcohol and homophobic bullying.
The film is Australian and will be shown without subtitles. The film's director will give an introduction before the film is shown.
