About Pan Yoga
Yoga is for everyone - including you. You are always welcome to have a free trial lesson before you sign up.
We use techniques and principles from classical Hatha Yoga, where we work with the union of body, spirit and mind to create greater presence and awareness in everyday life. Yoga gives us simple and effective tools to deal with a busy day.
The best thing about Yoga is that everyone can take part regardless of whether you are a beginner or experienced. "Younger" as well as "older", women and men train side by side, enjoy the activities and laugh and have fun together.
The activities of Pan Yoga take place two days a week. When you are a member of Pan Yoga, you are free to participate in all the sessions we have. Some members participate once a week while others participate both Tuesdays and Thursdays, depending on their own schedules.
The activity fee is for one season at a time. It is at an extremely favourable and competitive price and you can get up to 30 lessons of yoga in one season if you attend every session.
We have set up regular social activities with two monthly café outings, where we meet for a cosy get-together outside the gym.

Our training takes place at KU: BE, which is Frederiksberg's brand new multi-activity house:
KUBE, Dirch Passers Allé 4, 2000 Frederiksberg, 3rd floor, "Zen" room - Due to the Covid 19 situation, use the rear entrance from Byhaven, which is on the opposite side from KUBE's main entrance.

Yoga on Tuesdays starts at 18.15 (but please come 15 min before)
Yoga on Thursdays starts at 18.15 (but please come 15 min before)
Yoga is over for the year 2020. See you in 2021. The start of the new season will be announced here and depends on when the restrictions are lifted again. During the period when we are only allowed to be 10 participants at a time for yoga, we are unable to accept new members or offer free trial classes. When we are back again, where everyone can participate, you will be welcome to join us for a trial lesson.

Due to the Covid 19 situation, you need to bring your own yoga mat.
The activity fee for Pan Yoga is DKK 400 per half year.
In addition, you need to have paid for membership of Pan Idræt at DKK 390 per year.
Training and coaches
My name's Ricki and I teach Iyengar yoga full time. I've been teaching for more than ten years. I used to run a yoga studio in Vesterbro.
These days I mainly teach evening classes, at companies and privately.
Iyengar yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga, a method developed by BKS Iyengar. The method is based on Patanjali's Yoga Sutra. Iyengar Yoga is a protected title.
The teaching is thorough and structured. The position s are explained clearly and precisely. Emphasis is placed on precision and sequence. Often, aids such as belts, blocks and mats are used to perform the postures correctly.
My name is Pia and I have been a yoga instructor in Pan Idræt since 2014.
Hatha yoga is a yoga form that focuses on balancing your energy through physical postures.
In our sessions, we work with both slow deep flow as well as hold the positions longer to strengthen and develop the ability to listen to the body.
In Hatha yoga you will develop strength, agility and balance through the use of asana (postures).
