About Pan Yoga
Pan Yoga is a division under Pan Idræt København Pan and Idræt Frederiksberg, which aims to create a welcoming and inclusive free space for exercise, health and community for everyone under the rainbow.
Pan Yoga is for all ages and body types, including you. We use simple and effective techniques from Iyengar Yoga and Hatha Yoga, where we work with body and mind, so that you can create greater awareness and presence in your everyday life. Whether you are new to yoga or more experienced, our skilled instructors ensure that you will get the most out of a yoga lesson.
Yoga class is three times a week, Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On the second Monday of each month, we go out for dinner at a local restaurant after class. It is on a voluntary basis, and it is always informal and cozy.
As a member of Pan Yoga, you are welcome to participate in all yoga classes, both Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays, giving you access to a minimum of 3 x 15 yoga lessons per season.
If you have not practised yoga with us before, we offer two free trial lessons, before you have to decide about enrolling. Please contact us via email yoga@panidraet.dk to learn more or to make an appointment.

Training and coaches

My name's Ricki and I teach Iyengar yoga full time. I've been teaching for more than ten years. I used to run a yoga studio in Vesterbro.
These days I mainly teach evening classes, at companies and privately.
Iyengar yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga, a method developed by BKS Iyengar. The method is based on Patanjali's Yoga Sutra. Iyengar Yoga is a protected title.
The teaching is thorough and structured. The position s are explained clearly and precisely. Emphasis is placed on precision and sequence. Often, aids such as belts, blocks and mats are used to perform the postures correctly.

My name is Pia, besides teaching yoga in Pan Idræt since 2014 I have also been teaching yoga at Yoga Studier in Copenhagen. I am a certified Sivanada Hatha yoga and Kundalini yoga instructor.
In Hatha yoga you will develop strength, flexibility and balance in your body and mind. In my classes, I focus on the classical asanas to give my students a good foundation to build upon. The asanas will vary from class to class, but the class will have a well known structure. I do hands-on assistance in class to help my students improve their technique and yoga practice.
Kundalini yoga is a combination of meditation, chanting, breathing exercises (pranayama), and physical poses (asanas). Kundalini yoga affects both your physical and psychological well-being. Kundalini yoga builds strength, improves your mood and lowers your blood pressure and heart rate.

My name is Henrik. I have praticed Yoga for over 20 years, since 2018 as a certified RYS200 yoga instructor.
I have primarily been doing astanga viyasa yoga, as the dynamic and strenuous yoga appeals to me.
Besides my job as an architect I teach yoga, Pilates and fitness for firms and work places. I'm also the coach for a fitness-walk team under Frontrunners in Pan Idræt.
My yoga is centered around astanga yoga, but I'm not very dogmatic, so I tent to mix in a bit of positions from yin- and hatha yoga. It's important to me to not only focus on flexibility, but to make sure that you will gain core and arm strength as well. Therefore you will sometimes experience a few exercises from Pilates in my teachings.
Breathing is off course very important, not just for yoga, therefore I also teach a few pranayama exercises.
